Founder
MoosePunch Interactive is an independent studio founded and run by Brent, a solo developer who believes that software and games should feel human.
Every project is built with intention - not to chase trends or manipulate engagement, but to create tools, games, and experiences that respect the people using them. MoosePunch exists because Brent wanted to build things that feel thoughtful, honest, and creatively grounded.
Why MoosePunch Exists
MoosePunch began as a response to a growing frustration with parts of the modern software and game industry. Too often products are designed around metrics, retention tricks, and artificial engagement rather than meaningful experiences.
This studio was created to take a different path.
The goal is not scale for its own sake, but to create projects that are intentional and built with care - whether that means practical tools that help people communicate more clearly, or playful games that leave players smiling.
Creative Values
The studio is guided by a few core principles:
Honesty
Design without manipulation or predatory systems.
Character-first design
Expressive worlds, strong visual identity, and memorable personalities.
Impact over scale
Smaller projects crafted carefully can still matter.
Respect for players
People’s time, attention, and emotional energy should never be treated as disposable.
Long-term thinking
Build worlds, ideas, and tools that can grow over time.
Personal Philosophy
Brent’s philosophy is simple: build things that feel like they were made by a real person.
Whether the project is chaotic and comedic like GooseFight, cozy and expressive like Northern Knockout, reflective like Headline Hoax, or practical software like the tools in the Merit suite, each project carries the same goal - to create something honest, thoughtful, and worth someone’s time.
MoosePunch isn’t trying to become a content factory.
It exists to build meaningful experiences, grow original ideas, and create work that people can genuinely connect with.
