Today MoosePunch Interactive officially became a registered business.
It happened on Friday the 13th, which felt strangely appropriate. Some people avoid that date, but it seemed like the perfect day to start something a little unconventional.
MoosePunch began as an idea that slowly grew into something bigger - a place to build software, tools, games, and creative projects with intention.
The goal isn’t to chase trends or scale as quickly as possible. The goal is to build things that feel thoughtful, honest, and worth someone’s time.
Over the past months I’ve been working quietly on several projects that will live under the MoosePunch umbrella.
The first wave includes:
- MeritMessage - a communication tool designed to help people write clear, thoughtful messages when the stakes feel high.
- MeritToolbox - a collection of small utilities designed to help people think, write, and create more clearly.
- MeritCat - a lighthearted project translating the mysterious thoughts of cats.
MoosePunch is intentionally small. Right now it’s just one person building things carefully and seeing where the path leads.
Some ideas will grow into larger projects, some will stay small tools, and some will simply exist because they were fun to make.
All of them share the same goal: create things that feel like they were made by a real person.
This devlog will track that journey - the experiments, the successes, the mistakes, and the small milestones along the way.
